Privacy

Privacy, in plain language.

We’re a nonprofit, not a data company. Here’s exactly what that means for you.

What We Collect

At Sober & Curious Boston, we respect your privacy. We only collect the information you choose to share with us when you subscribe to our newsletter, register for an event, make a donation, contact us, or otherwise engage with our organization. We use this information to communicate with you about our events, programs, and updates, process registrations and donations, and respond to your inquiries. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes, and you can unsubscribe from our emails at any time.

Platforms We Link Out To

Some of our services, including event registration, donations, email communications, and social media, are provided through trusted third-party platforms such as Meetup, Givebutter, MailerLite, Facebook, Instagram, and Substack. If you use those services, your information is also subject to their privacy policies.

Cookies and Tracking

This site doesn’t run advertising trackers and doesn’t sell your activity. It serves its own fonts and loads content and images from our content system (Sanity) to display the pages — that’s the extent of it.
