We’re thrilled to welcome legendary Harvard basketball coach Kathy Delaney-Smith for a moderated conversation about her book, Grit and Wit: Empowering Lives and Leaders.
Kathy spent 40 seasons leading Harvard women’s basketball and retired as the winningest coach in Ivy League history. Part memoir and part leadership guide, Grit and Wit brings together stories and lessons about resilience, confidence, leadership, relationships, and living with intention.
This will also be a particularly personal conversation for SCB founder Lesley Delaney Hawkins, who is Kathy’s niece and grew up learning from her example both on and off the court.
We’ll talk about the experiences behind the book, Kathy’s unconventional approach to leadership, and how its lessons apply far beyond sports.
